Liferoot’s Beauty Elixirs (aka Facial Oil Serums) can be used for facial oil cleansing, or a nutrient-packed moisturizer for the face and body. They are concentrated and nutritious, so only a small amount of product is needed.
Beauty Elixirs are best utilized as a skin booster and can be a moisturizer after cleansing and a toner application or before a heavier moisturizer.
Each Beauty Elixir is packaged in 2 oz amber glass with dropper dispenser (except the Rooted Glow which is 1oz).

Over-cleansing or using harsh/soap-based cleansers stimulate the sebaceous glands. What are sebaceous glands? They are microscopic exocrine glands in the skin that secrete an oily or waxy matter, called sebum, to lubricate and waterproof the skin and hair. They prompt more oil production when the skin needs it (or when it has been stripped by your cleanser).
Introducing oil to the skin can have the opposite effect and actually slow oil production, making your skin appear less shiny and oily. And contrary to popular belief, face oils can improve breakout-prone skin. Serums are a great way to moisturize and cleanse the skin with the like begets like principle. The skin needs oil to keep a protective biome balance and the skin barrier intact.

They are concentrated and nutritious, so only a small amount of product is needed. These oil moisturizers are best utilized as a moisturizer after a toner application or cold water exposure.
For Oil Cleansing Method: Open pores by applying a warm wet cloth to face. Rub on face (not much is required) in small clockwise circles. Wipe your face with a warm wet cloth to get off excess oil.
To use as Moisturizer: Apply after cleansing face (Our cleansing grains, Happy Wash, or Ananda Cleanser are great for this) and applying a toner to ready the face for an oil serum. You can also ready the face for a serum by splashing with cold water.

C-Boost Beauty Elixir
This serum is nourishing, lightweight and clarifying. Packed with berry extracts and antioxidant boosters that are powerful but delicate. Great for aging skin, this is a super food oil for the face. Vitamin C packed for a deeper moisturizer with a light feel.
Ingredients: Moringa (Moringa oleifera), Argan (Argania), Olive (Olea europaea), Maracuja (Passiflora edulis), Camellia Seed (amellia oleifera), White Chia Seed (Salvia hispanica), Neroli (Citrus aurantium), Monoi de Tahiti (Gardenia taitensis), Cypress (Cupressus), Sandalwood (Santalum album), Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), Cedarwood (Juniperus Virginiana), Palmarosa (Juniperus Virginiana), Mulberries (Morus), Acai Berries (Euterpe oleracea), Goji Berries (Lycium barbarum).
Use: Test for sensitivity first. Dab on face and lightly rub in after cleansing and toning.
Rooted Glow
This serum provides protection while still allowing the skin to breathe. Cultivated with rooted botanicals such as carrot (helps fight aging skin and protects from the sun), sea buckthorn (helps to fix damage done to the top layer of dermis facial skin), and tamanu, tumeric & red raspberry (boosting the skin for healthy glow, fighting inflammation and puffiness).
